Volunteer Roles

Tasks vary but can include filing, database management, cataloging books or equipment Goodwin Ambassador Representing Goodwin at events and raising awareness within the community. Special Events Volunteer Help with event prep and clean up, represent Goodwin at events. (including the Goodwin Forest Trail Run, Native Plant Sale, friends gatherings) Environmental Presenter Present a topic to general audiences in an area of interest. Goodwin Gardeners Work with other gardeners to maintain and improve the native plant arboretum, propagate plants and shape formal gardens at the Center. Goodwin Trail Manager Maintaining and inspecting a specific trail and/or trail section throughout the year. Goodwin Trail Monitor Visit assigned trail sections to document and report condition inventories. Project Learning Tree Present PLT workshops to educators and/or use PLT lessons in programs for K-12 youth Youth Educational Program Leader Present topics of interest to youth, scout, homeschool or school groups. |
