Creating Magic
The children's discovery trail has been an ongoing project to create a space filled with small delights to encourage young children (and those young at heart) to visit the forest. Volunteers have pulled poison ivy (ongoing), added a pollinator garden and created objects of delight for children to discover as they explore the short path through a section of the woods.
We'd like to add a few musical instruments to the trail to encourage expression of creativity and exploration of sounds.
We hope to raise $2000 to cover the cost of the instruments and installation.
Any excess will be used for plants to expand the current pollinator garden.
